Life Science Business Development Manager

Kraków/San Francisco/Boston/Remote
Job description:
  • Proactive new business generation with a focus on pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as other key industry stakeholders, in the US and Europe
  • Managing existing relationships for growth through valued account management and up-selling new solutions
  • Maintaining a robust pipeline for future accounts generation by sourcing new prospects
  • Engaging and communicating effectively with senior (often C-level) decision makers
  • Collaborating with other commercial teams to maximise opportunities from prospects and existing clients
  • Willingness to learn and develop a high level of knowledge across a broad range of company products and services
  • Attending world-class conferences and events with the aim of developing new business and supporting existing clients
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree is required, PhD is an additional plus
  • Min. 3 years sales experience into the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/IT sector is required
  • Fluent English – verbal and written, at least C1 level
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience of presenting to senior decision makers in the Pharma/Biotech/IT sector
  • High personal standards and positive personality
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • A motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Knowledge of the bioinformatics/molecular biology/data science/software engineering is nice to have
  • Sandler Selling System experience is nice to have
