Ardigen at AACR Special Conference Convergence: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Prediction in Cancer

Topic:

Between October 14th and 17th our lead scientist Giovanni Mazzocco attended the 30th Anniversary AACR Special Conference.

The conference titled “Convergence: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Prediction in Cancer” was focused on discussing the power and limitations of computational tools for the analysis of cancer related data.

During those four days we attended sessions, talked to speakers and exhibitors, discussed posters and deepend our knowledge on the intersection between cancer research and data science. This conference gave us the opportunity to hear about the state of the art of cancer research from incident to early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and outcome prediction, with great emphasis on approaches leveraging big data and new computational methods such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
