Job description

• Design and implementation of web applications used as reporting tools that aggregate and display critical information
• Development of scripts that transform and aggregate data
• Maintenance of existing pipelines
• Working in multidisciplinary teams (software developers, bioinformaticians and data scientists) to understand customer requirements and provide matching solutions

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Python
• Experience in working with AWS cloud services
• Experience in developing web applications (Django)
• Familiarity with UNIX operating systems
• Familiarity with Docker
• Knowledge of relational databases (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Documented work experience at least 2 years
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems (Git)
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing
• Proficient in English with good written and verbal communication skills

You get bonus points for

• Knowledge of R, Java or Groovy
• Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Nextflow
